Anzhi preparing bid for Inter Milan ace Sneijder

Anzhi are preparing a shock move for Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder.

Anzhi are eyeing Sneijder for this transfer window, which does not close in Russia until February 24.

They already broke records by signing Samuel Eto’o from the Nerazzurri over the summer for €25m with a three-year contract thought to be worth €20m after tax per season.

“I always look out for what could happen and never shut down any option,” said the midfielder.

“I am happy at Inter, but we’ll see what happens. I am not in contact with any other clubs and if a side had made an offer on the last day of the transfer window, I could’ve left.

“I can’t know where I will be playing next year. I have thought about the United States, but in future. As for Manchester United, I see everything that goes on around me, as I’m not blind, but there were never any concrete negotiations.”
