Anzhi Makhachkala plan to make a bid for Chelsea striker Fernando Torres.

Russian media sources say Torres is high on Anzhi's €300 million shopping list.

Their football chief , Roberto Carlos, has already confessed they have Barcelona star Lionel Messi and Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo on their long-term agenda.

Torres is a target for this summer's market, but will take some persuading to accept the move.

The Spaniard is reluctant to make the switch to Russia at this stage in his career and is confident he still has the backing of Blues owner Roman Abramovich.
