Anzhi insist there's been no approach to Inter Milan for Wesley Sneijder and Douglas Maicon.

Anzhi have officially denied the reports.

"Due to the emergence of numerous rumours in the media that FC Anzhi were in talks for players Douglas Maicon and Wesley Sneijder, please be advised this information is baseless," read a statement on the club website.

"The club has not conducted any negotiations for the transfer of these football players to our team.

"FC Anzhi are quick to confirm signings with the media and fans."
