Anzhi are determined to test Manchester United's resolve in January for skipper Nemanja Vidic.
The Daily Mail says Vidic is a target for Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala, who plan to offer the United captain a mammoth £250,000-a-week after tax salary.
However, the massive salary would not make him the highest paid player at Anzhi as the club pay a record £325,000-a-week - after tax - to former Barcelona and Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto'o.
