Sunderland are holding open trials for their junior and youth teams.
SAFC's official charity, the Foundation of Light, is holding open trials for boys aged five to 16 on April 14, 15 and 16.
Sunderland midfielder Jack Colback told safc.com: "The Academy of Light gave me the coaching and guidance to develop my football skills. People attending the Open Trials will learn so much and hopefully go on to progress their football ability further, whilst enjoying themselves."
