Newcastle United midfielder Vurnon Anita isn't thinking about next year's World Cup.

The young Dutchman says he's happy to focus on establishing himself at Newcastle.

"If I play a lot here, I might get a call from the coach of the Netherlands," said Anita. "I'll take it step by step. Newcastle and playing games come first.

"Club football is more important than the national team. I'm here to do my best and I know what is coming."
