Antalyaspor president Gultekin Gencer says Barcelona star Lionel Messi is on their radar.

The Turkish club have signed two former Barça stars, Samuel Eto'o and Ronaldinho, this summer, and their next objective, albeit not in the short term, is the recruitment of the Argentinian.

“I hope that the president who succeeds me is capable of bringing Messi here in five years' time," Gencer told LigTV.

Antalyaspor hope to bring big stars to the club in order to draw supporters and spectators into their new 40,000-capacity stadium which is currently being built.
