Skysports.com understands Steven Caulker is the latest Tottenham player set for a loan spell away from White Hart Lane. Caulker, who made his first-team debut against Arsenal in midweek, is being allowed to go out on loan following Tottenham's exit from the Carling Cup.
A number of Championship clubs are thought to be chasing the talented central defender, who impressed at the Under 19 European Championship in the summer.
Spurs are now deciding what club to allow Caulker to join so that he is getting regular action.
