Another Sunderland striker bites the dust

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce must be cursing his luck this week for fresh after the shock move of star striker Darren Bent to Aston Villa the black Cats are hit with the news that hitman Danny Welbeck could be out for up to eight weeks after undergoing knee surgery. Bruce said: "Danny was operated on yesterday and it was confirmed he had a torn cartilage and he will be [out for] six to eight weeks."
