Barcelona are rethinking their January plans for Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho.
Coutinho was outstanding for Liverpool this week in their Champions League win in Maribor.
And it's suggested Coutinho has stepped up his game after being assured by Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp he would be allowed to join Barca in January if he showed full commitment in the group phase of the Champions League.
Coutinho has held up his end of the bargain, however Diario Gol says he could be let down - again - by Barca when the winter market opens.
The Brazil international risked a backlash when making a transfer request over the summer, which still saw Barca fail to close a deal with Liverpool for his transfer.
And there is now a belief Barca are to leave him hanging again, believing paying €140m for a player Cup-tied from the Champions League would be bad business.
