Sacramento Republic FC attracted another massive crowd to Hughes Stadium as they defeated LA Galaxy II 2-1 in the USL PRO league on the weekend.
The first-year team had an attendance of 20,231 making it the second time in three league outings at their temporary home that they have pulled in sellout crowd.
Republic FC are preparing to move to Bonney Field at CalExpo which has a capacity of 8,000 suggesting that recent numbers may force them to expand.
For now, however, the club will continue to play at Hughes where they have attracted crowds of more than 17,000 in their three USL PRO fixtures at the venue.
Thomas Stewart opened the scoring in the seventh minute before Galaxy II's Kyle Venter replied less than ten minutes later prior to Rodrigo Lopez's eventual 69th-minute winner.
Republic FC now sit fourth on the USL PRO table with 13 points from eight matches, 11 behind leaders Orlando City, who have played two extra games.
