Former Everton striker Victor Anichebe appreciates the football education he received at Finch Farm.
The striker departed the Blues for West Bromwich Albion in 2013 after breaking onto the first-team scene under David Moyes as a teenager.
“Now that I'm 30, thinking about 12 years ago, it does seem that long," he told evertonfc.com.
“I have really fond memories of being here. I was just telling the guys how great a club it is. When you've been to other places and travelled you do recall the good times you've had here.
“Wherever I go in the world people say, 'Victor Anichebe, Everton' and it just shows the strength and how big Everton is and some of the positive impacts we had together.
“I'm happy I was able to come through here."
