Manchester United have seen off a rival bid from Manchester City to land Universidad de Chile striker Angelo Henriquez.

The Mirror says United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has won a major signing battle with neighbours City by landing Chilean striker Henriquez.

The youngster flew into Manchester for a medical after deciding to stick by United - who have had an agreement set up with him for months - despite their 'noisy neighbours' being ready to pay more money.
