New York Red Bulls striker Juan Pablo Angel hopes the club makes the right decision when they appoint their next full-time coach.
When Juan Carlos Osorio resigned with eight matches left in the season, Richie Williams took over and helped turn things around for the struggling Red Bulls.
A record of 3-3-2 earned Williams 11 points in eight matches, one more than Osorio managed in 22 matches at the helm.
Clearly that shows he had some minor success with the club and now Angel hopes the right thing is done.
"The last eight games have been very good, and he's done what he has to do,'' captain and Designated Player Juan Pablo Angel said. "He has turned the mentality around, and given us support and the results have been there for us. We'll see; hopefully we make the right decision.''
