Nicolas Anelka admits he was fed-up in the second-half of the season being played out-of-position at Chelsea.

"Ever since I arrived, I had not played in my (preferred) position," Anelka told L'Equipe. "Never at No9, but only on the left or right. Until now, I had not said anything. I was a new player who had arrived from Bolton.

"But from next season, I will not be a new one. I will be a Chelsea player.."
