Nicolas Anelka admits Chelsea's French speaking contingent convinced him about moving to Stamford Bridge from Bolton Wanderers.

He told the Sunday Times: "Chelsea really wanted me. That's why I'm here, plus they are a big club with many French-speaking players. Even before I joined I knew it was great what Avram Grant has done since he's been here. He is very good and he is very calm, but you know what he wants you to do and where he wants you to go."
