Finnish Teemu Tainio, midfielder/defender Jan Gunnar Solli, goalkeeper Bill Gaudette and young striker Jose Angulo have all been cut loose by New York Red Bulls.

The New York Post reports new sporting director Andy Roxburgh is already cleaning house after deciding not to take up the options of the quartet.

They cleared over $450,000 in guaranteed money off the salary cap by declining the options on Gaudette, Solli and Tainio.
