Andy Murray delighted for tennis partner Shaun Maloney after Wigan FA Cup triumph

British tennis ace Andy Murray was delighted for Wigan Athletic star Shaun Maloney over their FA Cup triumph.

Maloney and Murray played tennis together growing up in Scotland and the Wigan midfielder was chuffed to learn his compatriot - back to World No.2 this week - had tweeted about his Wembley triumph.

Murray, knocked out of the Madrid Open on Friday, told his Twitter followers: "Used to play tennis against Shaun Maloney - pretty cool watching him play in FA Cup Final a few years later!"
