Former Manchester United striker Andy Cole is supremely confident that Shinji Kagawa will make the grade at Old Trafford.
The 25-year old Japanese midfielder has struggled at United since moving from Borussia Dortmund in 2012 but Cole feels he is certainly a good enough player to become top quality in England.
Kagawa had starred in the Bundesliga prior to his June 2012 shift to Manchester and despite playing just 22 times this season, Cole is of the belief that he is of a very high standard.
"You can't go to the Bundesliga and be the best player there for two years and all of a sudden, can't play the game anymore," Cole told Kyodo News.
"The Bundesliga's not a Mickey Mouse league; it's a proper league and at this present time, it's probably stronger than the Premiership, just like the Spanish league. They're quality leagues with quality players.
"It's not as if he were playing in some weak league or whatever. He was playing in a very strong league and it's why Manchester United bought him in the first place."
