Keith Andrews isn't surprised by Shane Long's impact at West Bromwich Albion.
The Dublin-born ace has watched the 25-year-old striker flourish during their time together on Ireland duty.
"I've seen him kick on leaps and bounds over the years," Andrews told the WBA website.
"He changed as a player from what I had seen in previous years. It was as if he was kicking on in his career. Now he's one hell of a player, and a real handful, as the other lads will tell you.
"He very much appreciates it. He's a very level-headed lad - and a lovely lad too.
