Andrew Hughes has joined Alan Pardew's Crystal Palace backroom team.

The former Charlton, Leeds and Reading man was recently part of Rotherham United's coaching team and previously at Bolton Wanderers.

The Croydon Advertiser says Hughes took his first coaching session on Thursday as part of the management setup with Pardew.

Hughes links up with Pardew once again, having played for him at Reading between 2001 and 2003.
