Andreas Pereira admits he owes his Manchester United move to the Nike Cup.
Big things are expected at United from the midfielder.
"It all started after the Nike Premier Cup tournament at Carrington [the Aon Training Complex]. After that, I knew United were interested and I admit I just couldn't believe it. After a while, we came to visit here at the training ground and all the facilities. It was a special moment for me," he told manutd.com.
"I came here as an attacking midfielder - I'm often a no.10 but can play the no.8 role as well. I work every day on set pieces. I've scored a few free-kicks so doing that can pay off."
