Arsenal fullback Andre Santos was delighted with their steely draw against Fulham.

Santos believes the point was a positive one in the circumstances.

"It wasn't an easy game, Fulham have a quality team," he told Arsenal.com. "We tried hard even harder in the second half but unfortunately the second goal didn't come.

"We faced a very good opponent and maybe we didn't have our best performance but we still have the chance to keep up this good run we're having.

"The most important thing is that we didn't lose the game and the team showed spirit.

"It is very important to a team to keep a regular stable run and we are doing that, we're trying to accumulate as many points as we can now," he added. "There is still a long season ahead of us."
