Former Tottenham midfielder Darren Anderton believes that the current day Spurs players really love playing for manager Harry Redknapp.
Some of the North London club's top players, including Gareth Bale and Luka Modric, are being linked with a summer departure from White Hart Lane but Anderton insists that Redknapp's influence will keep the squad together as they look to get back into the Champions League.
"Gareth Bale is a very level-headed lad. I don't think he is one to get turned by the speculation," said Anderton.
"I think he will stick by Tottenham and stay there. Players love playing for Harry.
"Next season is a massive season. If they weren't to get into the Champions League next season then who knows maybe it could prove to be a problem."
