Anderson admits Manchester United spirits have been high since victory over Arsenal.
The Reds have had to be patient since the splendid 1-0 victory against leaders Arsenal a fortnight ago and face a taxing schedule of fixtures with the next three matches all away from Old Trafford.
"It was a good win against Arsenal and important that we closed the gap at the top of the table on them and Liverpool," stated Anderson to manutd.com.
"Everyone was happy after that result and the international break has been good. Congratulations to Patrice and Nani on qualifying for the World Cup. Other players have had a little break - some had two or three days off, as we had played a lot of games, so it was good to have a rest in order to come back fresh."
