Anderson admits Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has granted him great freedom in midfield.

After being called up by Dunga for Brazil's friendly against Sweden tonight, Anderson said: "Actually, I have more freedom and play for United like a No10. I feel very at ease also playing this way, and I hope that with Brazil I can repeat the performances that I have had here for my club.

"I am doubly happy, since I will defend my country and have participated in an important victory over a rival (Liverpool) in the English Championship."
