Anderson insists he never has tried to leave Manchester United.

The Brazil midfielder was quoted saying he had "tried to leave many times and never succeeded" earlier this week.

"It's not true," said Anderson. "Everyone knows I'm happy at the club. I've had a lot of injuries but I've never let the smile go from my face.

"I try to help the team all the time. This is me. When I want to leave I will have to talk to the boss first. I don't (want to leave)."
