Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul is a loan target for Anderlecht.

The Mirror says the Dutch keeper, 29, was farmed out to Ajax and then AZ Alkmaar last term as Karl Darlow established himself.

Krul is in the final season of his deal and boss Rafael Benitez is sweating on closing the deal to bring in Pepe Reina.
