Anderlecht midfielder Leander Dendoncker was proud of his equaliser in last night's 1-1 draw with Europa League opponents Manchester United.

He said afterwards: "This is very nice of course. It's my first goal at European level. That also it is against Man United, makes it extra nice. It was a good cross from Ivan Obradovic.

"I am very happy."

Dendoncker added: "I think we can be content because we have to be honest: we have worked hard this evening, we ran very much, but we knew that beforehand... after all, you're playing against Manchester United. But, in the end we should be happy with the result."
