Anderlecht midfielder Jan Polak is being tracked by Sunderland.

The Czech Republic international is known for his goal scoring ability from midfield and is a January target for the Black Cats.

He almost joined Galatasaray in the summer but instead was persuaded to sign a one year contract extension tying him to the club until 2012.
