Former Socceroo and Anderlecht great Eddie Krncevic is tipped to take the vacant coaching job at Hume City.

Krncevic last coached at South Melbourne in the NSL after starting his career at Carlton and then moving to Marconi before finishing his NSL run with South Melbourne.

Krncevic is credited with successfully launching many young player's careers such as Archie Thompson, Vince Grella, Mark Bresciano and Simon Colosimo.
