Belgian club Anderlecht are reportedly asking for 3million (around $USD4m) for New York Red Bulls target Ronald Vargas.
The 27-year old Venezuelan attacking midfielder is being linked with a possible move from the Belgian Pro League to MLS but it is believed the asking price is a potential stumbling block.
According to Venezuelan journalist Daniel Prat, Vargas is also a target for Spain's CD Numancia and Portugal's Rio Ave, but is keen to join the Red Bulls as his sister resides in New Jersey.
Vargas was previously a target for New York, back in 2008, but was sold by homeland club Caracas to Club Brugge before moving to Anderlecht in 2011.
