Anderlecht defensive utility Kara Mbodji is a target for Everton.

The Daily Star says the 26-year-old is international team-mates with Kalidou Koulibaly, another defender linked with a summer switch to Goodison Park.

And he has plied his trade in Europe since linking up with Norwegian side Tromso in 2010.

He has gone on to establish himself in Belgian, first of all with Genk, before joining their top flight rivals Anderlecht in a £3.8m deal last summer.

With Ronald Koeman bracing himself for John Stones' seemingly impending exit, Mbodji's stay with the Brussels side could soon come to an end.
