Anderlecht defender Cheikhou Kouyate says he rejected an offer from Arsenal last month.

Kouyate admits he would've signed for the Gunners if Anderlecht had failed in their Champions League qualifier.

"Without the Champions League, I was leaving Anderlecht. My manager had contact with Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger," confirmed Kouyate.
