The former Chelsea manager was in the frame for the Villa job last week before announcing he would take a 12 month break from football.

Ancelotti was left unconvinced by Villa's ambitions and while he has spoken of being prepared to work for a club outside the main powers in England, it's suggested he really does only want to join another Champions League team in the future.
