Carlo Ancelotti says AC Milan need to be patient with new coach Rino Gattuso.
Gattuso endured a difficult debut as Rossonero coach with yesterday's 2-2 draw against Benevento.
"A new owner has entered who has tried to renew a lot, has made a lot of investments. I think some purchases that have not been made have been overestimated. It takes patience, perseverance, and for Milan it is difficult now to be patient," said Ancelotti.
"(Vincenzo) Montella? I am always against the sacking of the coaches, but a coach who takes over I think he has zero responsibility because the fault is always given to those who were there before."
He also told Domenico Sportiva: "When it's time to change, the coach always pays. In Gattuso I would say to do one thing: it is better to sink with your own ideas than with the ideas of others."
