Earlier in the week Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti was linked to Tottenham playmaker Luka Modric, but was less than pleased when questioned on the reports. The Croatian star's contract expires in 2016 but that has not stopped rumours he is top of Chelsea's shopping list in January.
Ancelotti's response when questioned on this matter was curt.
"He's a good player, but no-one is speaking about him here.
"Also, there's no reason to speak now about new players. If we need to have something, we are able to do it.
"But there are a lot of games in this period - five games in a few days - so we have to stay focused on these games."
