Ancelotti unhappy as AC Milan continue home struggles

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti was upset after more points were dropped in yesterday's 1-1 draw with Parma.

"It was a missed opportunity, as the other teams are starting to run away from us," said Ancelotti at the final whistle. "We played a good first half, then we eased off too much in the second and left Parma more space."

Clarence Seedorf had opened the scoring with a lucky ricochet just before the break, but Andrea Pisanu's volley earned the Gialloblu a point.

"We cannot always be sharp and at times you have to grit your teeth and bear it," added Ancelotti.

Parma coach Mimmo Di Carlo insisted: "We deserved the victory, even if at the end we risked losing it with two frenetic moves in front of Nicola Pavarini.

"I have to compliment my lads, but I also tell them to work hard. On Wednesday we have another important match."
