"We will not have Alexandre Pato or Kaka, though Ricky will be ready for Parma. Gennaro Gattuso and Alberto Gilardino return, but for the rest we have to evaluate those who played on Sunday," said Ancelotti.

"Alessandro Nesta probably won't be there, as he has not entirely recovered from a back problem, while I could rest Paolo Maldini."

Paloschi is likely to get his opportunity because Ronaldo and Pippo Inzaghi are still struggling with fitness woes.

"Ronaldo's main problem is one of match fitness and condition, not physical injury. He has the chance to work well in training this week and come back out against Parma on Saturday," added Ancelotti.

"If Inzaghi shows difficulty in his recovery, then Paloschi will be there for the start, otherwise he'll be on the bench. Paloschi is very young, like Pato, but he has more room for improvement than the Brazilian. Alberto will certainly stay here next season and I'll settle him into the main squad."
