Real Madrid directors insist president Florentino Perez is serious about bringing Tottenham star Gareth Bale. Perez knows Real need to make a dramatic signing this summer after Barcelona's stunning swoop for Neymar.
Despite the bluster from Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy and claims Bale won't be sold for less than €100 million, Real directors insist Perez won't take 'no' for an answer.
"We're on it," said one to AS. "The president is the first who wants him and is excited about signing him for Madrid."
During a working lunch yesterday, new coach Carlo Ancelotti discussed signing Bale with his No2 Zinedine Zidane, Perez and GM Jose Angel Sanchez.
"If you can, bring him. He's very good," said the Italian.
