Ancelotti thrilled with AC Milan's 2-goal Pato

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti was thrilled with two-goal Alexandre Pato after yesterday's 2-0 victory over Genoa.

"I am very happy that Milan won the match playing good football. It was difficult, but I remained relaxed and scored," said 18-year-old Pato.

"I do my talking on the field, play football and that is all there is to it, I don't focus on tactics. Serie A is very difficult and I am playing alongside so many world class players, so I know I shall always improve."

Ancelotti has put a lot of faith in the teenager, although he missed several golden opportunities in this match.

"Pato is young, so you can understand if he does not have the clinical finishing and cool head that comes with experience, but he certainly has quality," said the Coach.

"We didn't play well in the first half and were too slow, but after the break we turned up the tempo. It is the first time we have fielded Pato as a lone striker, even if he prefers to start from deep. The extra midfielder allows us to run fewer risks."
