Ancelotti tells Abramovich Pato can make it at Chelsea

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti still holds out hope of a reunion with AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato.

Tele Uno says in talks with Blues owner Roman Abramovich, Ancelotti has told the Russian that Pato would succeed in the hurly-burly of the Premier League.

If Ancelotti is to stay at Stamford Bridge, he would make landing Pato a priority.

The Brazil international continues to struggle with his fitness this season and missed the World Cup due to poor form. But Ancelotti is confident he is the coach to bring out the best in the young forward.

Pato is currently tied to Milan until 2014 and has already seen two good friends in Leonardo and Ronaldinho leave the club in the last six months.
