Bayern Munich coach Carlo Ancelotti says Holger Badstuber can leave this month.

The defender, off contract in June, is a target for Manchester City and Hamburg SV.

"If Holger wants to leave, we would be open to it," said Ancelotti. "But we are only willing to let him leave on loan, we do not want to sell him."

BiLD says Badstuber is eager to leave and favours a move to City.

The defender played for City boss Pep Guardiola when he was in charge of Bayern.
