Ancelotti relaxed as Torres again fails to break Chelsea duck

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti insists Fernando Torres' five game run of failing to open his account for his new club is not an issue. The Blues striker drew another blank in the 3-1 victory against Blackpool on Tuesday night.

The misfiring Spaniard, who arrived at Stamford Bridge for a record £50million from Liverpool back in January, hardly had a chance all night and never looked like coming close to scoring, but his Italian manager is not concerned.

"He is showing good movement; he showed good movement with Drogba in the first half," said the Italian.

"I think they played well, it was a good combination at the start of the game.

"I didn't ask them to play closer, I wanted them to spread the Blackpool defence.

"It is important he works for the team and he is doing that now and game by game he will improve and he will score.

"We are happy about his performance. He is a top scorer and he will score, this is not a problem."
