Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti says the club was right with their statement against UEFA president Michel Platini.
Real released an official statement in protest against Platini commenting that Cristiano Ronaldo should not be handed the Ballon d'Or.
After victory at Malaga, Ancelotti said: "Cristiano Ronaldo didn't need it, but the club needed to clarify everybody's position, especially that of the UEFA president."
