"The season has a long way to go, but right now our thoughts cannot be with the Scudetto so much as just trying to improve. On home turf we have managed just three points in four games. That is a negative result and we have seen far too much difference between the way we play at home and away.
"Milan are paradoxically better away from home where they have more space to move around in. We are a team with two faces, as at Lazio we won with roughly the same line-up.
"The problem is that in tight spaces we don't have the necessary quality and movement to create a few more chances. Alberto Gilardino and Pippo Inzaghi were pegged back by the excessive slowness of the team in home games."
