Ancelotti keen to discuss long-term Chelsea contract

Carlo Ancelotti has declared he is ready to discuss a new long-term deal at Chelsea.

Ancelotti became Chelsea's fifth manager in 21 months when he took over in the summer of 2009 and, after showing his credentials by winning the Premier League and FA Cup in his first season in charge, he wants to provide some stability.

He said: "It is better to have stability for the club and also for the manager. I am ready to sign a new contract."
