AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti was delighted to give his son, Davide, a senior debut in last night's 2-2 friendly draw with Dynamo Kiev.

Ancelotti Jr, a 17 year-old midfielder, is rated highly at Milan and Ancelotti said afterwards: "It was very nice to see my son, Davide, play.

"I cannot consider him a player like the others, but I hope he can become a good footballer. However, it's a great satisfaction to see him play for Milan, as it is for all the young players who played tonight."
