Chelsea are preparing a sensational bid for unhappy Real Madrid midfielder Kaka. AS says Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has been given the green light to go for the Brazil international, who is unhappy over accusations he put his World Cup fitness ahead of Real's cause this season.

Ancelotti enjoys a strong relationship with Kaka thanks to their time together with AC Milan and wants the former World Player of the Year to fill the creative void left by the expected departures of Joe Cole and Deco.

The Italian is convinced Chelsea can land Kaka for around £40 million with the Brazilian unsettled in Madrid.
