Ancelotti blames ref for Milan draw

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti is livid after his side conceded a last minute equaliser at Lecce to lose top spot in the Serie A. Ancelotti was furious with the referee's decision to award a freekick against Emerson which lead to the headed equaliser from Esposito in the 90th minute, cancelling out Ronaldinho's 70th minute strike which had given the visiting AC Milan side the lead.

"Only in Italy are these fouls awarded," claimed Ancelotti in the post match press conference.

"That was a foul they only give in Italy. Unfortunately the referees in Italy give far too many free kicks for the slightest contact."

Milan's cause wasn't helped with a host of misses in front of goal, with Pato, Borriello and Kaka all having great opportunities.
